Easter Genoese sponge

Using my trusty Genoese sponge recipe I have made some little easter bunnies and easter nests. Both are variations on Victoria sponges.

The rings are basically fairy cakes and buttercream just shaped a different way; from humble beginnings:


...you can make something that looks quite polished:
