Modesty is NOT my middle name....

Well, looky here...what do we have? Why it's the February 2011 edition of the BBC's rather splendid Olive magazine:

Page 7 is particularly good this month, I think....

I would like to thank my family, my friends, the eaters of my cake who don't expressly fall into the first two categories and all my readers - without you such an honour would not have befallen me! I'm welling up.......

Yay, well done you!

I had a bit of excitement last month with a piece in Cook Vegetarian, but a whole page, bloomin' heck. Well done missus xx

Wow! Congratulations! And very well deserved of course. ;)

Hi Jacqueline

Sadly it's not a whole page...this time.
Having said that - if there are any commissioning editors out there who would like a whole page then please don't be shy. If asked nicely, I might even be persuaded to write a book....(who am I kidding - a publisher could ask rudely and I'd still say yes)!

I nearly bought Olive today - well done

Hey, well done. Good news and a nice start to the new year.

I will buy your book, especially if it has Movie Cakes in it. So if any commissioner editors are reading this there is a market for TCC's sterling tome right here.

Congratulations! Now I just need my copy to arrive in the post (grr - could have bought it in the shops today, what's the point of subscribing if you don't get it early....)

My copy of Olive Magazine has just this minute dropped through my letter box. Such a lovely surprise to see a write up on your blog. A huge well done to you CC! Now sit down with a piece of cake and check out those stats before your computer crashes.

Congratulations! I just found this blog through landgirl's blog, and now I am going to pass on the cake luurve by emailing the link to my mate (who is a fellow cake lover and makes some pretty fab sugarcraft...unlike myself who is a cake fan who makes cakes, blobs the icing on them willy nilly and scoffs them).

Weeeeeeeee! Look at you all famous.

A recent post suggests you have creme de menthe in the house. Ding dong! Got any etchings?

Hi Silverpebble

Why of course I have etchings...how else do you think I lured Mr CC into my den?
