New ways with old favourites...custard tart


Silly me, I thought making individual custard tarts would be easier...I was wrong. It was fiddly work lining the small pastry rings and the result was certainly rustic rather than elegant. That said, they are not without charm!

I surely was a lot of work to put the pastry dough into each tart form, but these look so delicious!
But, the inexperienced me feels that it would be safer to make custrd tart in these small pans than in a big one, isn't it?
